What blessing!

To have Pastor Gleason assisting with the Divine Services today. After all the years with vicars and fieldworkers and associate pastors, it felt downright STRANGE to be up in the chancel alone. Good to have a fellow pastor to serve the liturgy with again. Next week, he'll be presiding and I'll be serving as assisting minister.

I would think that it would be strange to serve as "assisting minister" where I was the bishop, while someone else presided. I suppose if I had another pastor presiding, I would not assist at all, except during the distribution. Glad you enjoyed it though.

I feel like I must have missed something. Who is Pastor Gleason and when did he come to Saint Paul's?

What a blessing for me, too: excellent and orthodox preaching, reverent and joyful liturgy, warm and welcoming saints. Wow!

Pastor Biesel, I'm with you. It will feel strange presiding over the Bishop.

Pastor Lehman, I'm just a Lutheran pastor without a parish that was blessed to find a temporary haven in Hamel.

I'm glad that you are at Saint Paul's, Pr. Gleason. They are wonderful people all of whom I love dearly.

My year there with Pr. Lehmann was one of the best of my life.

Blessings to you and them!

Er, too early... Pr. Weedon.

I can't stand Pr. Lehmann. I don't know how his wife lives with him.
