What would you do if Christ himself with all the angels were visibly to descend, and command you in your home to sweep your house and wash the pans and kettles? I'd like to think I'd first genuflect and then do right speedily what the King requested of me. At the least, it's a matter of etiquette.
Of course, if on the other hand, He deigned to gift me with His life-giving Body and Blood to eat and to drink, I suppose I'd genuflect all that much diligently. At the least, it's a matter of reverence, wonder and thanksgiving.
